Structural Principle
The instrument consists of a measuring system (including flange joints and corrugated diaphragms), a transmission mechanism (including connecting rods and gear transmission mechanisms), indicating components (pointer and dial), and a housing (including the case, bushings, and glass). The instrument operates on the principle that the corrugated diaphragm undergoes elastic deformation at its free end under the pressure of the measured medium. This deformation is then amplified by the lever-gear transmission mechanism, and the pointer, fixed to the gear, indicates the measured value on the dial.
