Product Overview
The WSS series bimetallic thermometer is a field instrument for measuring low to medium temperatures. Bimetallic thermometers can directly measure the temperature of liquids, steam, and gases within the range of -80°C to +500°C in various production processes.
Product Applications
This series has a temperature measurement range of -80 to 500°C and is suitable for temperature measurement in industrial applications where high accuracy is not required. The bimetallic strip, as a sensing element, can also be used for automatic temperature control.
Structural Principle
A bimetallic thermometer uses a spirally wound bimetallic strip as the sensing element, housed in a protective sleeve. One end is fixed (fixed end), and the other end is connected to a thin shaft (free end). A pointer is mounted on the free end shaft. When the temperature changes, the free end of the sensing element rotates, causing the pointer on the thin shaft to change angle, indicating the corresponding temperature on the scale.
